Around the house~

Rosie’s blankets hanging on the chair, lying on the floor, flopped on the couch.P1142978

Gladys on my bed, all cozied up with Papa’s blanket, doing her math.

Granton.

I love doing school with him.

P1142980

Today I found my smelly markers (I love them!) and introduced them to Granton. He loves them too :-)

P1142982

Granton’s card that we “read” each morning. We added “sun” to the list of his words. He can read all the word cards we started with and will even line them up and make his own sentences.

P1142986

Lincoln logs. They are Granton’s but the girls enjoy them as well.

Lunch today. Tacos. Instead of cheese, add corn. Yum!

Rosie’s snack time.

Making Fudge with Mama.

Yes I gave him a few chocolate chips to snack on.

“Mama, can I take a picture of you?”  ♥    “Sure Granton” this Mama says.

Big brother playing with dolls? Gavin had Rosie laughing her head off. How? He dropped the doll off the table. When she smacked on the ground, Rosie laughed.

And that’s our day. I am using some of the frozen beans I made over the wknd. They are sitting in the crockpot tonight with all the toppings to make Baked Beans. YUM!

How was your day?

  5. Dear Cinnamon,

Thank you for a look into your day. We loved it! My daughter and I had to laugh at Gavin playing silly with the dolls. My husband used to do the same with her and they had so much fun together. I also loved the post about the beans and crock pot meals. This week we made a batch of our refried beans and froze a couple of meals. Those meals are so nice on the busy days.

    God bless,
    Tami
