Going to get Green Eyes~

Who has been gone the for the past three weeks. Today he returns. It’s a happy day. I am leaving early to pick him up as traffic might be slowed down due to the snow that blew in last night.

Plus John is traveling into Dallas/Ft Worth where storms are brewing . Hail, severe weather, possible tornadoes :-/    I appreciate your prayers for his safety.

To keep me busy while I await my handsome Soldier….oh, it just dawned on me that I didn’t’ tell you where Green Eyes has been. Since he was promoted to Sgt. he was able to attend a Leadership class in New Mexico. Three weeks of 4am –9pm, daily exercise and lots of cramming and memorization mixed in.

As I was saying….to keep me busy while I wait for John to fly in I brought lots of books. No I probably won’t read all of them but I like to read a bit from each :-) Plus some note cards to jot notes to dear friends.

Looking forward to some quiet reading time before John gets in.

Granton is doing much better. He gets one breathing treatment at night and it seems to help him not be up coughing all night. He gets rest. I get rest. I like that :-)

Speaking of rest….guess who has slept all night the past two nights? And I’m talking ALL night long? Twice!!

It all started when I took her bottle away. Which I never would have imagined that it would cause her to sleep more. But she did and I’m so happy. For her. For me. For us :-)

And now I must be off….Green Eyes awaits :-)

We have been bombarded with snow this last week also. This is the most we have had in quite a few years. We just keeep saying that it is a blessing because our water tables have been down for many years.

Take Care and enjoy your husband's homecoming.
