Abc’s and 123’s are always on my bed :-)
Granton and I have been using his blocks to learn his Abc’s. He is such a cutie!
I think I am craving spring, although I am enjoying winter, the bright colors are what I long for. So when I made lunch the other day and it looked so beautiful and bright I had to snap a picture. Rosie’s lunch is in the little dish next to mine. My drink is Kombucha with Sprite.
Venison Chili, bell pepers, apples and corn chips. Yummy-ness!
Making cookies with Granton is always a treat for me.
Rule #1 for Granton: No touching :-)
Granton gets all that ingredients and measuring cups out. I dip out the sugar, flours and salt and he pours. We’re a team :-)
Handsome boy.
Melts my heart.
These cookies were for Rosie so we use Coconut Oil instead of butter. Granton knows Rosie eats special baked goods and looks out for her.
“Can I crack the eggs Mama?” I hear that so many times in a week. Often my answer is no. Not today. Today I said “yes” :-)
I explained to Granton that he needed to keep give the egg a good hard crack! and make sure to keep the egg in the bowl. “Okay Mama.” he said.
Oops!
“I’m sorry Mama.” ~poor little fella~
“Oh that’s okay. Let’s try again Granton” Mama says.
This time I put a plate underneath to catch any spills :-)
“I did it Mama!”
“Good job Granton!”
Rosie dear was nearby happily occupied eating yogurt in her high chair.
Rosie – 23 1/2 months old ♥
Rosie always gets to eat the beaters when we make her goodies. I like treating her and Granton loves sharing.
Gluten Free/Dairy Free Chocolate Chip Cookies from my favorite cook book!
Granton likes to help with every single step.
He has to follow instructions like “Don’t add the chips till I’m done pouring them into your hands.”
And “don’t add extra salt when I am not looking” hence the “no touching” rule :-)
The recipe didn’t call for them but I love pecans in chocolate chip cookies so I added them. Plus they are extra goodness for Rosie.
Rosie gets to try out the cookie dough. She eats it bit by bit.
Helpers always get to take a snip of dough :-)
Ta-da! Chocolate Chip Cookies! Yum~
I love you Rosie dear.
Just a little cuteness.
And sillyness :-)
That is my week or weeks in a nutshell: Kids, kids, kids :-)
You can always count on four constants when you visit:
Lots of feet running, hollering and playing.
Toys strewn about.
Cups all over the counters.
Coffee pot is on.
So drop in. Our door is always open ;-)

Garrett got a job!
Everyone is healthy!
God is good ♥
The picture of Granton after he cracked the egg the first time is priceless. I laughed so hard. Good job for letting the helpers help.
