Capturing moments. I love that about blogs. Not only can I look at sweet Rosie today. But next year and the next and so on. Moments when the children were small. Moments when they were silly. All the ordinary-ness of my life right now sealed up here for as long as I’d like to re-visit. I love that!
Happy Valentine’s Day Papa.
Juicing. Yum! Greens. Oranges. Spinach. Herbal blends mixed in. Yum!
“Gunnar will you read me this book” asks Granton while Gunnar is eating. There was no hesitation in Gunnar’s answer. He simply set his food aside, scooted his chair close and started reading. I love these kids.
Plus Gunnar does all the voices, just like his Papa.
Well my wknd is over. I managed to squeeze in a girl day with Gracie. A long over due girl day. We shared a meal at Applebee’s. Enjoyed crunchy onion rings. She had a strawberry lemonade and I enjoyed two glasses of iced tea, ahhhhh~
I enjoyed a walk in warmer weather with a friend and my dtr in love.
I returned a brand new juicer I bought. Sadness. I was really hoping it would have worked better. Handsome Green Eyes says I can buy a better one. That makes me happy.
Rosie is doing much better. She still has a bit of a cough, which became worse when she started the antibiotics but her overall health improved greatly as did her sleeping :-)
Now it’s Granton’s turn. Off we go to the Dr tomorrow for him. He headed downhill today and went from having a slight cough to looking quite sick. I’m thankful we are getting this taken care of tomorrow as there’s some snow due to drop in and pay a visit later this week. Best get all my errands taken care of soon.
How is everyone doing? Are you ready for spring with it’s green grass, flowers blooming and gardens growing?
~Cinnamon
p.s. I have lost my sewing machine. If anyone has seen it would they please let me know where it can be found :-/ I have four of the most adorable skirts all ready to be sewn up.
Oh.... Rosie is so darling. I want to kiss her on the cheek! : ) Darling pics of the boys...That is the sweetest thing ever, just soooo sweet.
ReplyDeleteI just love onion rings! Oh what a treat!
I have a Jack Lalane (sp?) juicer, ya know? It works pretty good! : ) I'm not super familiar with many juicers but it has been very dependable for us when we do use it. ( not enough! ) : )
Oh dear, you lost your sewing machine? Oh no! That is bad. Real bad. : ( I have the cheapest Brothers model from Walmart delivered one year for $50.00 one year, ya know? That little machine does the job, it sews so smoothly. (Just in case you break down and buy one) I used to have two Brothers until I left one on the floor and you can imagine. : O I'll never do that again!
Take care, your blog is a blessing! ~Amelia
Amelia, So happy to see you here. Yes Rosie has some squishy cheeks. I love to kiss them too :-)
DeleteI think the juicer I bought was just quirky and needed to go back to the factory for some tender loving care. We go through seasons of juicing. It's a big job to keep up and we work at juicing what is on sale or in season.
Yes the missing sewing machine has not shown up yet. Very sad. I even asked my husband if he moved it, which he never would, and he said he had not. Very sad indeed. Really how many places can a sewing machine hide??
I have two other sewing machines but they don't like me. Not like my missing one. The girls use the other ones. I'm holding out for my machine to come back to me.
I just bought a juicer recently and so far love it! It is a Breville. I have also had the sewing bug lately, making some summer dresses for my girl. (-: Looking forward to your favorite juicing combos and some pictures of those skirts. No pressure! ha!
ReplyDeleteTania, I was over your way not too long ago. One of these days we'll actually get together :-) Yes summer skirts are what I had in mind.
DeleteJuicing post.....coming soon :-)
Thinking of you friend!
ReplyDeleteSuch a precious, quiet time here. Busyness at home, nesting, getting ready for baby...
Enjoying this season so much and (obviously) neglecting my friends to a certain degree :-}
I'm thankful for your friendship Cinnamon. Glad to see your people smiling!
Love
Momma Bug - I've been wondering how you are...wondering if your sweet baby came early. I think of you so often and am glad to hear you are busy getting ready for your newest Angel :-)

Love capturing the moments. LOVE it!
ReplyDeleteI burnt my expensive juicer up this past fall...making juice. Of all things. One too may apples I suppose. I need a good one too.
I have two sewing machines. A new one barely out of the box. And an old dinosaur that was my grandmas. Guess which one is my favorite? ;o)
Kristin...haha! you killed your juicer by juicing..sounds like what we are doing with our current juicer...a slow death by spinach and apples :-/
DeleteHow fun to have a keepsake from your Grandmama. Love that!
I just got a new juicer too.. it too is a Breville (like Tania above) and we love it. We used to have a Jack Lalane (in fact we have had two of those)... it was a pretty good juicer until it broke (the first time it wore out the second time was our fault), but when we got the Breville, oh boy it is great. We had watched the move "Fat, Sick and almost Dead", and that inspired us to get to juicing again. I found out that the Breville was the juicer he used in that movie, and then happened to find it at "Bed, Bath and Beyond". It was $149.00... more than I wanted to pay, but I am so glad we got it. Love your captured moments. They are precious.
ReplyDeleteI am hoping to get that very same juicer. Juicing for just two of us gives a juicer a run for it's money.
DeleteSo glad you stopped by. I am enjoying your series on healing remedies.
Sorry it took so long to visit! I love the name of your sweet blog :) And to lose a sewing machine, Uh oh! I hope you find it soon!
ReplyDeleteCinnamon, I love reading here and I LOVE your pictures! Rosie is so adorable! ALL your kiddos are :) I hope your sewing machine "shows up" :(
ReplyDeleteWe bought a juicer and used it twice. It now sits on the refrigerator :( laziness, really. Plus I didn't buy a real nice one, so frustration too I guess. Haha.
Glad I stopped by. LOVE reading here!!!
And yes, I'm ready for spring and green grass and goat babies and goat milk again and all the beauty spring brings!!!
