Changes I would make next time I made it: add more Truvia. I like my goodies sweet. It was perfectly moist and perfectly wonderful in every other way.
I love this man! Handsome, witty, charming, strong & all mine.
Daily we feel like we shall melt at any moment. Temperatures have been up in the 90’s. Cooling off takes some effort. Looking forward to fall :-)
A quick update on Rosie – She is now in big girl panties full time. She “mostly” tells us when she has to “yuck” (code for going #2) and always makes it for “tinkling” ♥ She even does the “I have to go potty right NOW! potty dance” Too cute! It is hard for me to believe that we started this process with her under a month ago! No more diapers. No more wipes! Feels very weird. But a good weird :-)
Garrett. We love to have him over daily for lunch. Such a treat to visit with him. On this night he stopped by for a moment before returning to work. Why is he laughing? One word…..Gunnar!
Gunnar was singing this amazingly funny song about peanut butter and jelly and meeting the love of his life. It had us all in stitches. Maybe I should have him record it so you can all laugh too. Your peanut butter and jelly lovers will find it especially funny :-)
Sweet Gladys. She cut all her basil down this week and carefully hung it to dry in our entry way. When she was younger she use to help me cut down our mint and hang it up. Now she is doing it. Gardening is a love of hers.
She also enjoys the mandolin. She is new at this but loves playing it and can catch on to a tune so quickly. I wonder how much better she would do with actual lessons :-) For now she blesses us with her violin.
And here I am at the end of most days. Hair pulled back and a bit frazzled looking – haha! One day I shall learn how to do my own hair :-)
I am wearing Gracie’s necklace she made me. I love her creations. Sooo pretty! She made another necklace last night and came to show me and I said “thank you!” and I kept it :-) She’s so good to me. I will have to do a post of all her creations. They are adorable!
Is anyone else ready for fall? Snow? Warm wooly socks?
