John was gone all day Saturday so I scheduled some peeling, chopping and slicing. Want to peek at what the girls and I were up to?
Crockpot Applesauce, sugar free, with cinnamon. These lovely apples were given to me and since applesauce is a treat around here I decided to make it so the kiddos could have it with their meals.
It came out perfectly. I sweetened it with Stevia.
Homemade Chicken Stock. I am looking forward to some cool afternoons and yummy soup! I use the recipe from Making Babies Series but the link is a similar one that is very easy :-) Update: I poured some over pork chop. Then cooked them slowly on the stove. Dee-lish-ous!
I lit my first candle of the season….Candied Caramel Pecan.
Homemade Salsa. Granton & Miss Rosie like to snack on Salsa ♥ Such an EASY recipe!
I don’t have pictures for any of these other goodies. We gobbled them up so quick. But since we made them I thought I’d mention them.
Homemade Beans for Loaded Nachos. They were sooo yummy!
Gladys made Cheesecake & Chocolate Chip cookies for her Papa. Homemade goodies never last long in our home.
I love it when lots of yummies are cooked up. My house smells wonderful and I’ve spent a day in the kitchen with my girls. Between this and a good day in school I’m quite happy :-)
